Acupuncture

3059614_mAcupuncture a traditional Chinese medicine treatment.  It involves the use of sharp, thin disposable sterile needles that are inserted in the body at very specific points. The points chosen are bespoke to the client and are believed to adjust and alter the body’s energy flow into healthier patterns, it is used to treat a wide variety of illnesses and health conditions.

There is a growing body of evidence based clinical research discovering how the body responds to Acupuncture, and has been shown to stimulate the body into producing endorphins which help control pain and encourage healing.  NICE the National Institute of Clinical Excellence recommends Acupuncture for the treatment of migraines, headaches and back pain.  In recent years Acupuncture has become more and more accepted as a complement to orthodox medicine and is very effective for many patients, giving relief to those suffering with even chronic and acute conditions.

After a detailed medical history and presenting issues have been detailed a bespoke point prescription will be applied to suit your needs.  Treatments take approximately 30 to 40 minutes after consultation.
